Community Discussion re MWLT Conversion to a Community Trust

You're invited!

It was signaled by MWLT at the April Public Meeting and recent Annual Meeting that MWLT would initiate the process to convert to a Community Trust, a process allowed for under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act that lets MWLT evolve to a more efficient structure reflecting its current business model of investing and grant-making (through the Mount Wellington Charitable Trust).

That process has now been initiated with the passing of a resolution by MWLT on Friday 21 August.

A discussion paper to inform the community of the process and rationale behind this will be posted to this page by Friday 28 August.

Then the opportunity is there to come along to discuss the process and rationale behind initiating the conversion process and what options are available to the community. Bring your queries and get the answers you need.
